It's similar to turquoise but has a different look. This is a domed teardrop. I stabilized this stone. It has a little bit of pitting at the base of the stone under where the bezel would be. I like to use gallery bezels for these teardrops. It makes setting them easy. This is a rare variscite type. The first picture is the best representation of
