Vintage Ceramic Cat Figurines – Hand Painted Decorative Pair with Red Bow Collars (c.1950s–197 metalaircraft Three Matchbox Superfast NoA matched pair of vintage ceramic cat figurines dating to the mid 20th century, each standing approximately 19 cm tall. Modelled in a seated pose, the figures are finished in a soft cream crackle glaze with hand painted facial features and red ribbon collars. Both cats stand on square bases decorated with stylised green grass and a geometric border in blue and ochre tones. The modelling, palette and glaze are typical of decorative post war ceramics
