WW1 French North African Army Chasseurs d'Afrique Chéchia Model M1858 SOE Armpit to armpit measurement isOriginal WW1 French North African Army Chasseurs d'Afrique Chchia Hat Model 1858. The hat was sourced from the (sadly now closed) WW1 Museum at the Notre Dame de Lorette cemetery. Made of thick madder red felted knit and featuring three black bands. With black leather sweatband, with makers name of Beddoul 3 moth holes in the top and moth trails on the side. Size is quite small, approx 53 54 cm.
