The pin is marked "sterling" indicating that it is sterling silver

however under magnification you can see a chips to a couple of the turquoise cabochons and one of the eyes is a later replacement

there is a stable crack on the right side of the stone visible in the photos

This lovely piece depicts a sleeping young woman with hair designed to look like petals of a flower. The pendant was originally an antique 14k gold and diamond brooch that our jeweler transformed by removing the pin findings and welding on a 14k gold bail. It measures 1. 3 inches tall by 1. 1 inches wide and it is in very good condition. Materials: Diamond, Gold.
