Certan De May 2003 Gelber Muskateller very dark colourTasted at the chateau. This has a very fine nose for a 2003, very lithe and well defined, good purity, not showing so much heat. There are scents of blueberry, black plum and a little tobacco. The palate is medium bodied with respectable, fine tannins, still masculine but undeniably well balanced and understated on the finish with hints of tobacco and thyme. This is surprisingly foursquare but improves with time in the glass. Neal MartinTasted
