Like the broader Hamadan tradition it sits within, Hossainabad rugs were made by individual weavers working from their own homes, each piece shaped by the hands and sensibility of a single person rather than a workshop floor. This rug is hand knotted from wool on a cotton foundation, with a design that balances tribal boldness with classical Persian structure.
