Basement Catwalk Type:Unframed The front facade of theA makeshift timber catwalk bridges a pit in the concrete floor of the engine house basement at Elrington Colliery, near Abernethy. Old conveyor rollers are stacked against the rear wall, left in place after the mine closed in December 1962.
