This flange connects the Geoptik dual saddle  #30A057 to the SkyWatcher HEQ5 mount

The “Maxi”-dovetail clamping plate 4″ is designed to accept 4” 10 Micron dovetail slide bars

It operates at two speeds due to the 10:1 reduction mechanism for an extra fine focusing adjustment

and even changing it during an observation session

GEOPTIK DUAL SADDLE FOR HEQ5 Colour:Orange On the camera sideThe Geoptik dual saddle accepts Losmandy and Vixen bars. This accessory replaces the original SkyWatcher HEQ5 saddle that only accommodates Vixen bars. The saddle is CNC machined and the precision of its geometry guarantees a perfect match with the dovetail bars, a key factor for stability enhancement. Note: Due to the many different dovetail bars on the market and different manufacturers' tolerances, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all bars.
