I saw this group puttering around Lory State Park near Fort Collins

and find enough food to thrive in these harsh environments

The pictured birds visit feeders in the far north and in much of the Rocky Mountain Mountain range: Gray Jay, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Pine Grosbeak, Hoary and Common Redpoll, Black capped Chickadee, Boreal Chickadee.
