Cessna C177 Cowl Plugs Make your own chevronsOur padded C177 cowl plugs (also known as cowl bungs) are built tough for New Zealand conditions using marine grade vinyl and sewn with high strength bonded polyester thread. UV resistant polypropylene webbing ensures durability in harsh sunlight. Each plug includes a rear zip so the internal foam can be easily removed and dried if needed. Single engine plugs are supplied with a 200mm high red safety flag and streamers to prevent accidental engine
