On the palate this well dram is at first sweet and rich like fruit cake, but ends satisfyingly with a hint of dark chocolate. Longer fermentation for honeyed richness. Aberfeldy whiskies are produced using a long fermentation, up to 70 hours, which gives them a rich, honeyed and fruity flavor long established as the house style.
