Using an ancient technique called chasing and repouss, a design is pushed out from a piece of flat metal using a variety of tools and a bowl of pitch. This is an incredibly labour intensive technique with the metal being heated and rotated several times to create a three dimensional image, viewable from either side. The cuff has been finished with a
