K850 Fragment 5" wide x 2" deep18th century Italian mecca arrow decorated with a baroque pearl on a polished calcite base. The arrow was once used as part of a decorative motif in artistic depictions (most likely of Saint Sebastian) in historic Italian churches. It is hand carved and hand painted with mecca gold paint. It is mounted on the polished calcite base and adorned with a natural forming baroque pearl. The piece has been combined with the polished calcite and baroque pearl
