Made by Seymour Jacobsen, the dress is made of a combination of silk and appliqued netting. The skirt is a full cut silk faille and I love how the fullness is derived from the flat, sharp pleats set on each side of the waist but under where the curve of the waist is defined. This technique leaves the front and back skirt with slightly less fulness so you have a sleek, lean feel
