Trigere really was a master at cut and construction and this unusual and rare numbered sample dress is a showcase of her work

Each cuff has a button closure

Note the perfection of how even the button lines up with the pattern of the fabric

It is fitted from head to toe with a scooped bodice and nipped in waist

1960s Gold Thread & Blue Kimono Coat designer-jean-patou It is truly a beautifulThis pretty kimono coat or dress, is not absolutely perfect but still so wonderful I cannot resist listing it! The exterior is on great shape and is a fab mix of a smoky blue, silver and gold thread work all woven to create fabric that has a subtle metallic sheen. Its not a true kimono rather a westernized version. The sleeves are kimono shaped but the drop is far shorter that a traditional kimono and the tie belt is handily attached at the back. I
