If left hanging over the elastic it serves as  pretty detailing on its own but when worm with the top this ruffle actually flips over and snaps into place forming a curved over the top and it is edged in darling little pink bows

Fabulous 2007 Alexander McQueen Strapless Silk Black & Grey Tone Feather Print Dress Jackets Fully lined in a handThis is an interesting dress in that it is instantly recognizable as a McQueen piece and yet it was not one that was featured on the runway. It would have been a piece that was produced for limited production in stores. I have seen an all black version of this dress but this printed version is far more rare and more interesting I think.
